PRP AND PRF SERVICES
Our new PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) treatments offer a natural, non-invasive method for achieving a more youthful and vibrant look. These procedures involve drawing a small amount of your own blood, processing it to concentrate the growth factors and stem cells, and re-injecting it back into your skin.
- The benefits of skin lifting, tightening, and rejuvenation are manifold. PRP and PRF can restore lost volume, smooth out fine lines and wrinkles, improve texture, and bring a glow to your complexion. Over time, these treatments encourage your skin to heal, leading to natural, long-lasting results.
- On top of these amazing benefits, one of the standout features of PRP and PRF treatments is the minimal downtime. Some minor swelling or redness may occur, but these effects usually subside within 1-2 days.
Donโt let age dictate your look. Take control with our PRP and PRF treatments and experience the rejuvenation your skin deserves!
PRP Treatment
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment for the face, often referred to as a โvampire facial,โ involves several key steps:
- Consultation: Before the procedure, a consultation is held to assess the patientโs skin and discuss goals, ensuring that PRP is suitable for their needs.
- Blood Draw: A small amount of the patientโs blood (usually about 10-20 mL) is drawn, typically from the arm.
- Centrifugation: The blood is placed in a centrifuge, which spins it at high speeds to separate the components. This process isolates the platelet-rich plasma from red blood cells and other elements.
- Preparation: The PRP is collected into a syringe. It contains a high concentration of platelets and growth factors, which are believed to promote healing and rejuvenation.
- Cleansing the Face: The treatment area is thoroughly cleansed to remove makeup, oils, and impurities.
- Numbing: A topical anesthetic may be applied to minimize discomfort during the procedure.
- Injection: The PRP is injected into targeted areas of the face using a fine needle. The practitioner may also use microneedling techniques to enhance absorption and stimulate collagen production.
- Post-Treatment Care: After the procedure, patients may experience some redness, swelling, or minor bruising, which typically subsides within a few days. Patients are advised on aftercare, including hydration and avoiding sun exposure.
- Results: As collagen production increases, patients may notice improved skin texture, tone, and overall rejuvenation over the next few weeks.
The treatment is generally considered safe and can be customized to meet individual needs. Results can vary, and multiple sessions may be recommended for optimal outcomes.ย ย Most PRP treatments require at least 3 sessions 4-6 weeks apart.
PRF Treatment
What is it and how does it work?
PRF (Plasm Rich Fibrin) is used as a natural filler. A small blood sample is spun at a lower speed in the centrifuge which results in a higher concentration of platelets as well as white blood cells and stem cells to separate from the blood. Compared to PRP there is no anticoagulant used during the processing of the blood which results in a thicker fibrin liquid that releases platelets slower than PRP. The fibrin and slow-release growth factors build volume in the injected areas over time, making PRF a great and natural filler alternative.
โI received my first PRP treatment in March 2024, and I was a bit nervous since the most in-depth treatments I have done in the past are peels. Iโm a dedicated product user, and I wanted to try this to see if it would give my skin a boost and help to tone it. I was impressed with Cristianโs professionalism and caring nature, which ensured I was comfortable during the entire treatment. The results were better than I expected. My eye bags virtually disappeared, my cheeks and jawline were lifted, and my improved skin texture and renewed glow exceeded my expectations.โ L.G.
