Welcome back, we’ve missed you!

We are thrilled to announce that we are in Halton Phase 3 as of Friday July 24. If you are on our list for treatments on the face, we can now create an appointment for you.  We will then be contacting everyone who has requested a booking by phone and email. Please be patient as we will be calling each and everyone of you who have reached out during our closure.

Here is what you need to know when you visit us:

  • When you arrive for your appointment please call us by phone and we will instruct you on when you can enter the spa.  Under Phase 3 guidelines we are still not allowed to have clients waiting inside for their appointments.
  • Masks are mandatory for all guests entering the spa and we ask that you bring your own if you have one.
  • When entering you will be asked to use our sanitizing station to sanitize your hands and any items you bring in.
  • Please only bring in minimal items. ie. phone, wallet and keys. Extra clothing like a sweater or coat must remain with you and preferably on you. Do not bring anything that cannot be sanitized.
  • At this time we will not be offering beverages or magazines.
  • We will be accepting cash, debit, credit and Apple Pay.
  • Stations will be fully sanitized between guests so we ask that you please be on time for your appointment. Tardiness may lead to your appointment having to be rescheduled.
  • At this time (phase 3) we are now allowed by public health to offer facials, face waxing, tinting, or make-up applications. We are monitoring health and safety guidelines and have adjusted our procedures to meet and exceed the standards.
  • We will not be accepting walk-ins at this time. Only booked appointments.

Providing a clean, safe environment for you, our staff and your service is our #1 priority. Pre COVID-19, our staff diligently followed strict cleaning and disinfecting protocols regulated by local agencies, but we have now adopted extra safety precautions and placed even greater emphasis on deep cleaning.  Each public area has an exhaust fan running at all times taking air directly out of the building, additionally, the ventilation system runs 24/7, continually bringing fresh air into our space.  We remain committed to continually evaluating what must be done to meet the needs of our customers and adhere to (and exceed) guidelines set out by our government and local health regulations.

The following safety precautions are being taken to protect the health and well being of you and our staff during your visit:

  • Our staff has taken a refresher course on Salon/Spa Infection Control and earned certificates for doing so
  • Our staff wash their hands thoroughly before and after contact with every client.
  • Our salon uses an EPA-registered disinfectant, PREempt, on tools, containers, and all surfaces that you may come in contact with during your visit.
  • A new set of gloves is used for every client and at times must also be changed during the service.
  • Acrylic partitions for reception and manicure tables.
  • Limited appointments to allow for social distancing within the salon and spa.

Following a 3-month closure and faced with fewer appointments, additional cleaning time, PPE, supplies etc., we want you to know that we have adjusted our pricing with a small increase on most services.

We ask that you please stay home if you’re feeling sick, and we have asked the same of our staff. We will happily reschedule your appointment as soon as you are feeling better. We are working hard to keep you and the spa/salon community safe, and we know we can count on you too. Together we will maintain a healthy environment.

To our Valued Guests,

We have been busy in the Spa and Salon preparing for our reopening.  We are ready to greet you as we open anew on Monday June 22, 2020.  We have put a lot of thought into providing a safe and comfortable environment for our guests and team members when the time comes.  

We are reopening with protocols in place that are designed to further safeguard the health of our guests, our team and their families they go home to each day. Our staff has been trained and certified in COVID level cleaning and disinfection.  In addition, all government recommended guidelines will be adhered to. We will email and post social media updates as we have them.  

What will your guest experience look like going forward? Here are some examples of new protocols that will be in effect: 

  • You will be pre-screened when booking and confirming your appointment.
  • Please wear a mask when you arrive for your appointment. Our spa team will be masked as well. 
  • Due to reduced capacity in the spa, we are unable to accommodate extra people to accompany you inside (children, spouse etc.).  
  • We will be allowing one guest to enter the spa/salon at a time.   
  • Contactless check-in – when you arrive for your appointment we ask that you notify us by phone from your vehicle. 
  • We will invite you in when it is safe to do so. Upon entering you will be greeted (with a wave) and are required to use our sanitizing station to disinfect all of your belongings and then your hands. We ask that you limit the personal items you bring in with you.  Any extra clothing (example: a sweater) must be worn at all times while inside.  Clothing cannot be disinfected upon entry.  
  • Please know that we will not be serving beverages and magazines will not be available. If you would like to bring in a beverage or something to read, it must be sanitized upon entry.
  • We will be operating at 50% capacity and scheduling additional time for disinfecting between appointments.
  • Our reception area will not include extra seating. 
  • While we will be accepting cash, debit or credit card is the preferred method of payment.  

Keeping our guests as well as our team feeling safe is our #1 priority.

Guests who had appointments cancelled during our temporary closure have been contacted by phone to reschedule first. Phone calls and emails to request bookings will be responded to as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding and we look forward to seeing you soon.

  • Name of the service(s) in order of priority that you would like them. (Space and services may be limited when we first re-open)
  • Name of preferred service provider(s)
  • Availability: What days of the week are you available?  Morning, afternoon or evening?
  • The best way to contact you: email, text, phone call

Please note:  Walk-in appointments are NOT POSSIBLE at this time.

We were in the SPA over the long weekend preparing to greet you all once we are able to open.  We rearranged, cleaned, reorganized to start the reopening process.  There is much more to do but as guidelines are yet to be released, we are presently going by best practices to ensure the health and safety of our guests and staff.  Phone calls will be starting soon to contact those of you who were booked in March and April to ensure that you are given priority bookings once we reopen.

We now have an active ONLINE STORE.  It is a work in progress, so there may be the odd glitch.  Please let us know if you experience problems.  Not all products are listed yet but we are getting there.  If you don’t see your favourite, send us an email, as we probably have it but it just hasn’t been posted yet.  Curbside/contactless pickup is the preferred process for transaction completion.

To: Our Valued Clients

When we made the difficult decision to close our doors temporarily on March 16, we hoped it would be for only a few weeks. Our new reality is that it will be longer. Rest assured we are ready to open the doors as soon as we are permitted to do so.

Many of you have reached out to us and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kind words, trust and ongoing support of our small, locally-owned business.

We miss seeing you in the spa and hair salon, but we have introduced the availability to order your favourite products via email. Many of you have experienced our no-contact curbside pick up option. That service remains available. When you find you need more of your favourite product, email thefolliclespa@cogeco.net to place your order. We will contact you to arrange payment and pick up. We always appreciate your business.

Sadly we will have to postpone the Jane Iredale make-up event scheduled for April 15th. We hope to reschedule the event for the fall. For those of you who pre-booked please email at your convenience regarding your deposit.

We are working on an ecommerce area for our website making it easier for you to order and pay directly on our secured website. We will let you know as soon as that becomes available.

We will continue to offer Gift Certificate purchases on our website as well.

As we constantly watch the news and follow government recommendations, we promise to update you at least biweekly or as soon as our situation changes. We cannot wait to see you when we are “back to business” and look forward to seeing you soon!
